Urtica De Vijfsprong ist eine Lebens- und Arbeitsgemeinschaft mit therapeutischem Ansatz im Osten der Niederlande. Das Herzstück bildet der biologisch-dynamisch bewirtschaftete Hofe De Vijfsprong, benannt nach einer Kreuzung aus 5 sandigen Straßen. Für die Menschen für eine kürzere oder längere Zeit auf den Hof kommen, symbolisiert diese Kreuzung oft eine neue Phase in ihrem Leben.
Der Hof verfügt über 60 Hektar Ackerland und Weiden. 26 Milchkühe liefern Milch welche auf dem Hof weiterverarbeitet wird. Es wird Ackerbau und Gartenbau betrieben. Die Produkte werden an Kunden in der Region geliefert sowie im Hofladen verkauft.
Urtica engagiert sich seit Jahren für neue Aus- und Weiterbildungsprojekte, u.a. für die eigenen Mitarbeiter. Ebenso findet ein reger Austausch mit ähnlichen Projekten in den Niederlanden und Europa statt.

Urtica De Vijfsprong is a living and working community with therapeutic aim based in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It’s centre point is the bio-dynamic farm De Vijfsprong, named after a junction of 5 sandy roads. For people who are coming for a shorter or longer period on the farm this junction often symbolizes a new phase in their life.
The farm itself consists of 60 hectares of meadows and fields. 26 milking cows give their milk which is processed on the farm. There is also crop-growing and horticulture. The products are delivered to customers in the region and the farm also has its own health food shop.
Urtica is focusing since years on new training and further education projects to improve professional skill levels of its own employees and at the same time to exchange experience with other similar projects across the Netherlands and Europe.
